His remarkable journey also includes a unique appointment by the Government of Korea, leading him to serve as a senior diplomat in Chile from 2016 to 2022.

John Lee is the editor of KOREA PRO, based in Seoul, and serves as the co-host of the weekly Korea Pro Podcast. He specializes in South Korean foreign policy and ROK-U.S. relations. Lee is in charge of authoring the daily Executive Briefings for KOREA PRO.
